This blog is inspired by an adult-education class I’m taking at Stanford. The class is “Elementary Particles.” The instructor is the eminent Leonard Susskind (widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of string theory). This will not be an attempt to distill his lectures or the contents of his course. Rather, his lectures will serve as a jumping off point for my own reflections.
